You will see they are VERY organized and VERY good at what they do. How do you or your elderly parent avoid becoming victims of their schemes? It all starts with gaining the knowledge and awareness of the practices to stay safe. What do you do if you have been breached by their schemes? In this information session, you will learn about common scenarios that are used to “get” your precious information, and, most importantly, you’ll learn how to spot them immediately, avoid falling into their traps, and take action if you realize you have been a victim.

In this class, you will learn about the Windows operating system and its tools, and how to manage software, files, and folders. We will explore basic word processing using MS Word 2016, learn about spreadsheets with Excel 2016, and examine common features of databases. Lastly, we will touch on basic customer service techniques common in various work settings. This hands-on course is for beginning computer users in the workforce.
