AutoCAD Basics

The basics of AutoCAD will be covered thru step-by-step instruction, and will progress in difficulty, to offer the student a solid foundation in using AutoCAD. Emphasis will be placed on basic shape creation, layers, line-types, text formatting, dimensions, and printing. An understanding of basic drafting skills would be beneficial, but not necessary. Tips and tricks of construction, gained thru 25+ years of AutoCAD experience, will be offered throughout the 8 weeks of class.

Computer Essentials - Advanced - April

This class is for students who have completed the ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have some experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets. Students will learn to work in both Word and Excel to create and merge documents, reports and presentations. Email etiquette and formatting will be covered along with advanced file management and file sharing options. We will set aside time in class to handle student generated topics and questions.

Students must complete our ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets.

Efficient use of technology in a home or work setting requires basic knowledge in several areas: the PC operating system, software applications (Microsoft Office), file management, and storage options for photos and documents. In this class, you will learn about the Windows operating system and its tools, and how to manage software, files, and folders. We will explore basic word processing using MS Word 2016 and learn about spreadsheets with Excel 2016.

Medical Terminology

Plan to ‘learn by doing in’ this Medical Terminology course. Students will be introduced to the body systems using a workbook-text format and easy to read/understand presentation. Instruction includes students utilizing the Student Evolve website during the class. This course will assist students as they begin a medical career—whether for course study, in an office, a hospital, or additional medical setting.

Payment plan available: $100 deposit plus 1 payments of $75.00, paid every two weeks

UAS Remote Drone Pilot - Jan.

Enter the world of drones...small unmanned aerial vehicles! Used for pleasure or for work, their use is virtually limitless, but there are important guidelines to follow. In this 7-session course, our licensed instructor will educate you in the process through use of guided instruction in the FAA's study manual. At course end, receive information on where to take the official exam to become a certified remote drone pilot. You must be at least 18 years of age.
