AutoCAD Basics

The basics of AutoCAD will be covered thru step-by-step instruction, and will progress in difficulty, to offer the student a solid foundation in using AutoCAD. Emphasis will be placed on basic shape creation, layers, line-types, text formatting, dimensions, and printing. An understanding of basic drafting skills would be beneficial, but not necessary. Tips and tricks of construction, gained thru 25+ years of AutoCAD experience, will be offered throughout the 8 weeks of class.

Computer Essentials - Advanced - April

This class is for students who have completed the ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have some experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets. Students will learn to work in both Word and Excel to create and merge documents, reports and presentations. Email etiquette and formatting will be covered along with advanced file management and file sharing options. We will set aside time in class to handle student generated topics and questions.

Students must complete our ‘Computer Essentials-Basics’ course or have experience using Word and Excel spreadsheets.

Efficient use of technology in a home or work setting requires basic knowledge in several areas: the PC operating system, software applications (Microsoft Office), file management, and storage options for photos and documents. In this class, you will learn about the Windows operating system and its tools, and how to manage software, files, and folders. We will explore basic word processing using MS Word 2016 and learn about spreadsheets with Excel 2016.

This 40 hour CRMA course includes classroom, with clinical available after successful completion of classroom. All students must complete clinical, either with our instructor or arranged through your facility. Successful students will be certified to administer oral medications to residents in state-licensed assisted living facilities. Certification is valid for two years. Clinical component is an additional $125 cost if done with the MCST instructor. Please call 596-7752 option 3 for an application.
