PSS - Personal Support Specialist - October

  1. This 50 hour course prepares participants to work in home health care or residential settings. Personal care, communication skills, observing, reporting and documentation, how to provide care safely and deal with emergencies, consumer rights, aging and illness are among the topics taught. State certification is awarded upon successful completion of skill components and written exam.

Welding - MIG II

This 36 hour course is for students with prior MIG welding experience, and students who have previously taken the MIG I course. The course will cover advanced machine setup, advanced weld joint setup, and multi-pass welding in hard wire and flux core MIG. Safety is covered in the first two sessions and students will be given access to an online industry recognized training course in Welding Safety through S/P2®.

Prior welding experience or training. Students must complete an easy application form, and provide their own protective eye wear, steel-toed footwear and welding gloves.
