Simple and Creative Bookbinding

Based on Rachel Hazell's book, Bound, (highly recommended), students in this class will learn basic structure and bookbinding techniques to create simple, small books with delightful and unique designs. Homemade papers, cover and text papers will be provided, as well as a list of required materials sent out before class. If desired, watercolor patterns and designs will enhance the books allure. These make memorable gifts of "art" to include poetry, journaling or memoirs for you, friends or family. One book will be completed each week, with mock-up and directions. A materials fee of $15 is due to the instructor at the first class. A short supply list is available when you register.
