Jewelry Making - March - Copper & Silver

This introductory course focuses on developing fundamental hand skills, good studio habits, and an appreciation for quality craftsmanship. Students will learn essential fabrication techniques by designing and producing unique, handcrafted jewelry. Students will hone their skills in ring and bracelet making, learning basic soldering, forging, forming, stamping and polishing to create a variety of unique copper or sterling silver jewelry. Basic bezel setting will also be covered. Questions will be answered by a professional jeweler on individual projects. A student tools list and supplier source will be sent after registration. Students purchase metal for projects directly from instructor.
