This class will be geared to beginners, but ALL levels are welcome and encouraged to come and join the fun! FUN (and a little exercise) - that's what this is all about! Instruction includes two dances, knowing the class will have quick learners. This is a 3-session class on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evening.

With tips and guidance from the instructor and two texts for reference (Marlinspike Sailor by Herbie Garret Smith or Des Pawson's more recent Knot Craft), learn to manipulate various types of rope to create key fobs, bracelets, pouches, floor mats and more. This book was originally written and illustrated 60 years ago, but remains the go-to guide for clear instruction and inspiration in rope craft. The book and a few simple tools and cording will get you deep into the handwork. This is a Tuesday evening class.
